There
are presently ten collective agreements administered by the Pipe Line
Contractors Association of Canada that cover the type of work preformed
by Members of the Association in Canada. Four are used for
construction of mainline transmission systems, four apply to
distribution systems, one is used for pipeline investigation and
assessment work, and one covers field overhaul of equipment. Other
collective agreements may be created by the parties as necessary to
cover work that may result due to such factors as technological
innovation. |
