PLCAC Management and Committees

Management of the affairs of the Association is conducted by a Board of Directors comprised of elected representatives of member firms and a permanent Executive Director.

An Executive Committee comprised of the Officers of the Association, act upon the affairs and management of the Association during the interim between meetings of the Board of Directors.

In addition to the Executive Committee, there are seven other standing committees appointed by the President to carry out the functions of labour relations, education and training, legislative review, pipeline standards and codes, equipment rental guide preparation, convention arrangements, membership, and health and safety.  These committees are made up of volunteer members drawn from executive and staff representatives of member corporations.  These members devote hundreds of man-days each year to undertakings which benefit the industry as a whole.
